3M™ Vinyl Tape 471 is a durable, high-performance vinyl tape used for hazard and aisle marking, colour coding, paint masking, decorative trim and splicing. Its vinyl backing with rubber adhesive resists abrasion, wear and weathering for long-lasting results.
The tape sticks instantly to a wide range of surfaces, applies cleanly with no mess, and removes without residue. Highly conformable, it adheres easily to curved, rough or uneven surfaces. Available in multiple high-visibility colours, it performs reliably in temperatures from 4.44 °C to 76.66 °C, making it a faster, cleaner and more cost-effective alternative to painted floor markings across industrial, automotive, commercial and maintenance environments.
