The printer is powered by Ricoh G6 industrial printheads, supporting up to 16 printheads depending on configuration. Using variable droplet technology with 5 picolitre ink droplets, the SQ3220UV Pro delivers precise colour gradients, sharp graphics, and smooth tonal transitions suitable for high-end visual applications. The system supports printing resolutions up to 2400 dpi for detailed, high-impact output.
With a large 3200mm × 2000mm flatbed printing area, the machine can handle oversized rigid substrates including glass, metal, acrylic, PVC, foam board, wood, MDF, composite panels, aluminium sheets, and more. It also supports flexible materials such as fabric, canvas, leather, vinyl, and paper, making it an extremely versatile production solution.
The SQ3220UV Pro incorporates a THK silent guide rail system combined with a magnetic levitation linear motor to improve print accuracy and stability during operation. Advanced Panasonic dual servo motors on the Y-axis ensure smooth movement and reliable high-speed printing performance.
An intelligent four-zone vacuum platform allows operators to control air intake independently across the printing bed, ensuring stable material positioning for different substrate sizes. The printer also includes a full anti-collision nozzle protection system and a three-colour safety light curtain system for enhanced operator safety.
